Recently, we wrote that from January 1, 2025, all paper correspondence will be replaced by the electronic e-Doręczenia delivery system. It was expected that the service would allow individuals, companies, and government agencies to exchange documents online. It was also planned that the e-Doręczenia system would become mandatory for organizations registered in the KRS and CEIDG registers. Read more about this in the article.
However, as reported by “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna“, since the system’s launch, users and officials have encountered numerous problems. Access difficulties, an inconvenient interface, and a lack of fast technical support are just some of the complaints coming from across the country. Additionally, letters were lost, their delivery was delayed by several days, and attachments took a long time to upload. In some cases, the upload of small files took hours. Furthermore, serious issues with the protection of personal data arose — users had access to confidential information, including PESEL numbers.
Experts agree that the system needs to be improved. At recent meetings, local authorities warned the government that if the issues are not resolved by the end of January, they will insist on suspending the operation of e-Doręczenia.
