Every year, thousands of people choose Poland to live and work. However, after moving, it’s important to legalize your stay. This requires collecting certain documents, among which is an application or Wniosek. In this article, we will take a detailed look at the points in the application that require special attention, and also provide an example of a completed form.
An application for a temporary residence permit should be submitted if you intend to stay in Poland for more than 3 months and you have valid reasons for this, such as work. The Wniosek is not the only document included in the mandatory “package” for submission. See more details in the material.
The application should be submitted in person or by post no later than the last day of your legal stay. Also, the application (Wniosek) can be filled out online using the MOS portal and/or Inpol. The latter system is only for Warsaw. MOS was introduced relatively recently, so if you encounter difficulties, you can watch an instructional video on the official website.
Important:
The requirements for documents to obtain a residence card may differ depending on the specific Voivodeship. You also need to clarify the submission procedure at your local office (urząd), as it may vary.
If you are unsure about correctly filling out the application form (Wniosek), we recommend seeking help from a specialist or consulting with the staff at the local office (urząd).
