The era of high technology is constantly evolving, and soon employers and employees will face further changes. The government continues to work on a project that will allow employment contracts to be processed online. Additionally, business owners will gain access to updated digital services. This will create a convenient electronic system that will help entrepreneurs, employees, and companies resolve work-related issues more efficiently. These changes are expected to be a major breakthrough in labor legislation.
As explained by the Deputy Secretary of State at the Ministry of Development and Technology, Ignacy Niemczycki: «Digitalization primarily means simplifying the everyday work of a company. With the implementation of digital tools, the owner can focus more on the creative aspects of their business and dedicate more time to its development. This is especially important for small and medium-sized businesses, which typically do not have a large workforce».
The government also plans to update the Biznes.gov.pl service to improve its functionality. The changes include:
- New payment methods will be added (including BLIK and payment cards).
- In some cases, the e-Doręczenia data transmission channel will be used instead of ePUAP, which is planned to be closed by 2029.
- Integration with the newly created “Technical System of the Single Digital Gateway (SDG).” This, in turn, will provide Polish business owners with access to international services.
The total project budget is 44.8 million PLN, of which 35.7 million PLN is funding from the European Digital Development Funds program. The project is scheduled for completion by March 31, 2027, with the first changes expected by mid-2025. For more details on the project, visit the official website.
