According to Poland’s digitalization project, by 2035, all government institutions will be required to switch to electronic document management. Additionally, all key electronic services will be available in the mObywatel mobile application. Learn more about these innovations and the digital transformation in this article.
Recently, the Council of Ministers of Poland approved amendments to the “Law on Electronic Delivery”. These changes aim to speed up digitalization.
It is planned that starting January 1, 2025, all paper correspondence will be replaced by the electronic delivery system e-Doręczenia. This service will allow people, companies, and government authorities to exchange documents online, similar to registered mail with confirmation of receipt.
The system will be mandatory for all institutions and companies, including those registered in the National Court Register (KRS) and the entrepreneurs register (CEIDG).
Important:
Each organization will be required to create an electronic address, which will remain unchanged even if the company moves.
With e-Doręczenia, official documents can be sent and received safely and quickly, without leaving home or the office. It is expected that the system will be available to all users by the end of 2025. All information and step-by-step instructions are already published on the Biznes.gov.pl website.
