We often receive questions about the PIT-11 declaration. Issues typically arise due to missing or incorrect data. For instance, an employee may have changed their address without notifying their employer, or the payment amounts might not match payroll records. These are just a few of the challenges employers face each year when filing PIT-11. In this article, we address some of the most common questions.
PIT-11 is a tax declaration that provides information about income from other sources for the previous year, as well as details on withheld advance income tax payments and social and medical insurance contributions.
In other words, the PIT-11 declaration includes: employee or contractor income, expenses incurred to earn it, total income amount, and more. This information is used to complete declarations such as PIT-37 or PIT-36.
